Up for sale is my 1984 Volkswagen Rabbit GTI (MK1) project car with complete drive train, freshly blasted and painted wheels, brand new 165/50 R14 tires with zero (0) miles on them. New brake lines, rotors, and pads in the front. New drums, shoes, hardware, bearings, and emergency brake lines in the rear. Brake job done without replacing the master cylinder yet. The entire drive train including power steering & AC are there however the car has not run in 5 years. I bought the car as a project and have yet to get to the engine. I am confident the engine will run, however the buyer will need to conduct regular maintenance and possibly change rubber hoses and belts before starting. I would also advise to clean out the fuel tank, or run some fuel system treatment before running. The car will come with side windows and door windows. This car is a PROJECT and is NOT CURRENTLY RUNNING. Shipping will be at the buyer’s expense and must be arranged within 48 hours of the end of this auction. ***This car will need the following items as they are not included:*** - Complete interior carpeting, seats (will come with two Honda Civic seats you may want to use), door trim, dash board, gauge cluster, and other miscellaneous interior items. - Front & Rear windshields with gaskets & urethane.- This car will need paint as the entire car is coated with primer (all body work has been completed). - There are a few places that need very little rust remediation.- Brake Master Cylinder- Tail lights & side marker lights- Headliner
