I have a 98 Eclipse GS-T for sale. Has 148,XXX miles on body Rebuilt engine has about 1600. New rod bearings, connecting rods, pistons, head overhauled with new lash adjusters/lifters, timing belt, water pump, and radiator all new. New ecm, New battery, turbo has been overhauled. Has 08 eclipse 17" wheels, new Nexen tires over $1200 for the set. Turbonetics bypass valve (not vented) The engine runs really well, but about a month ago, the last night I drove it I hit a deer (broke side mirror and dented driver door, but has been fixed) On the way home0 it started to leak a little oil i think at the turbo oil return. never got low on oil just was smoking on exhaust. This oil got on the alternator and pretty sure it needs to be replaced that it shorted the regulator. Cold AC, Power Everything, Cruise, Sun roof, leather. Previous owner dyed the grey portions of the interior black, so it is all black. So, alternator and fix oil leak and you have a great car. I don't have any time or money to put into it and I have to sell because I have a baby coming ANY day now, and need 4 door 4 wheel drive. Also selling my 88 Toyota Supra ...wife says all toys got to go. Pics were taken today jan 17,2016. Will add more pics tomorrow possibly a video if weather is clear, my cam batts died on me today. Car does run and you can come drive it Make an offer, Come get it! 540 576 fourteen seventy one -Tony Update: Jan 18,2016 4:50pm EST - The alternator is not bad, I got a chance to take a look at it, and the ignition switch that was new, was to blame. It was not sending power to Ignition-2 circuit to power the field coil on alternator. Its under warranty and I'm swapping it out, the alternator issue is solved. Have not checked out the oil leak yet but plan to do so and will report back. Dear liquid_light777, This is a 2.0L DOHC 4G63 RVR engine that is 7bolt, from a Galant VR-4. It has 63dTev pistons, 8.7:1 comp ratio also found in Evo 1 and 2. No weird rattles, as with most of these cars but, most of the time that's either steering rack bushings or sway bar end-links. Drives straight and true, steers easy, but well controlled, brakes smooth and consistent. I do not have the key-less entry fob, however you could get one it is equipped with the capability, and the security system does work, you arm it by locking the doors with the inside switch from drivers side, and you turn it off by unlocking the drivers door with the key. Windows and all work well, trunk sometimes have to pull leaver twice to pop it. Any rust underneath or on car? any weird rattle or wobbles when cruising on bumpy roads. car drive straight, does steering or car wobble when putting on brakes at. Is there a keyless entry unit to the car. Also, does this car have a factory alarm that works, and how do you turn it off if it goes off ? I know because the horn and lights honk and blink so loud that it's unbearablely ;annoying. I'm thinking the driver side door lock is internally wired like all production. Just curious if the keyless entry unit (if there is one can turn it off) ? I dont want a car that gives me wobbles, or weird vibrations, door activator/window issues if alarm issues..these little things can really make life miserable lol. NIce car though. - liquid_light777
