I am listing a 1964 Ford Thunderbird Convertible inherited by myself and my son from a family member who passed away in 2013. When the title was transferred to us in 2013 the DMV indicated that it had 20466 original miles on it, but due to the age of the vehicle I cannot guarantee if the mileage is the "actual" mileage or has exceeded the 100k mark. Currently, the odometer has a reading of 20498. At this time I will list what I know has been done to the car before we inherited the vehicle: 1. The floor pans were replaced. 2. The car was completely stripped and repainted. 3. A New Convertible Top was installed with new seals. 4. The power top hydraulic pump was replaced. 5. New power steering gearbox and high-pressure hose. 6. Rebuilt Power Steering Pump. 7. New Inner and Outer Tie Rod Ends. 8. New Idler Arm. 9. New Steering Crosslink. 10. All New Brakes with a new master cylinder and brake booster. 11. Dual Aluminized Exhaust. 12. New Carpet. To prepare the car for sale we installed four new tires because the original tires were dry-rotted. We also gave the car a tune-up including points, plugs, condenser, and spark plug wires. We had the original four-barrel carburetor rebuilt and installed a new fuel pump. The car runs extremely well and the transmission shifts smoothly. We also raised and lowered the top several times to verify that it is in functioning condition. At this time the convertible top is functioning correctly. We have looked the car over and have found the following flaws: 1. Due to the vehicle's age the seats are beginning to separate in the seams and will require re-upholstery. 2. The door panels have cracks in the armrest areas. 3. There is pitting on the bright work trim pieces inside the vehicle. 4. The blower motor is not working. 5. The Fuel Gauge does not work. 6. There is some fading on the vinyl components of the interior, but surprisingly the dashboard does not have any cracks. 7. All chrome and/or bright work appears to be original to the vehicle exhibiting minor pitting or blemishes. 8. The spare wheel rim is in the trunk, but lacks a tire. In my opinion, the car is a 20 footer or less in appearance. It is in overall decent shape and is an ideal candidate for a daily driver, local cruise-in, or for leisure. I have described the car to the best of my knowledge based on what the owner told me before his death and if there are any other questions please ask prior to bidding. There are a few extra parts that go with the car which include: 1. Gauges. 2. Door Rubber Seal Kit (Left and Right Door) New 3. New Shift Lever. The vehicle is being sold without a reserve. The vehicle is currently being sold as-is and where-is with no warranty implied or expressed. Make sure to ask any and all questions prior to bidding on this vehicle. A deposit of $1000.00 dollars will be required within 5 days from the close of auction. The buyer is responsible for shipping and transport. The high bidder can make additional arrangements with seller if both agree. Full payment is required within 10 days of auction's close. Cash or Cashiers Check/Money Order.
