We purchased this vehicle from a financial institution as a repossession and it IS IN NEED OF BODY REPAIR. This vehicle was involved in a accident which damaged the left front only. For reasons unknown to us the owner did not have it repaired and let the bank take it back. The impact was mid-level, left front and just to the left of the left frame/unibody rail, any damage to that rail is minor if any at all. In fact the bumper reinforcement bar was not even touched. The vehicle did suffer damage to the following areas and body panels....... Bumper Cover, Hood, Grill, Left Head Light, Left Fender, Left Inner Fender, Core Support, Left Control Arm, Left Front Door (Very Light), Chrome peeled on front wheels, Left Front Air Bag Only (Deployed), and there could possible be very light damage to the engine cradle but not likely. The vehicle does start and the transmission does engage, however it will not move because when the control arm was bent it pulled the axle out of the transmission. Sound worse than it is, the transmission was not damaged. No other areas on the vehicle were damaged and the interior is very clean. All of the electrical features and options seem to work fine and this is a non-smoker vehicle. It would appear that prior to being damaged this was a very well cared for Edge AND IT IS BEING SOLD WITH A CLEAN TITLE. Kelly Blue Book Retail is over $16,000 when repaired. If you have the body repair ability or a friend that does this could make you an inexpensive Ford Edge or a nice profit.
