I have 1977 280z that I purchased at the begining of 2015 in CT, and began restoring. Nearly the entire car has been rebuilt, but I recently moved to California, and don't have the time to continue. I will list whats new, and what has been done in order below. New engine, drive-train, and suspension parts: - Intake (Not OEM)- Entire fuel system including, steel lines, EFI rubber lines, custom fuel rail with pressure gauge, fuel pressure regulator, all six fuel injectors, injector connectors, rebuild air flow meter, fuel filter, fuel pump, and restored gas tank- Cooling system including, Water pump, hoses, and lightweight aluminum radiator.- General tune up items such as, top of the line spark plugs, NGK wires, distributor cap and rotar, new fluids including gear oil.- Original 5- speed transmisson is smooth, new clutch and throw out barring was added. Clutch slave cylinder was also added. - Breaks have been upgraded in the front with drilled/slotted rotors. Front calipers are both 4 piston, stainless steel braided lines have also been added. A larger brake master cylinder has been added for the new braking demands. - All old suspension components have been removed. Car has adjustable coilovers at all 4 corners (with adjustable camber plates.) Most of the bushings have been replaced, new ball-joints and wheel barrings have been added.- Car has performance sway bars and sway bar links.- Fenders have been cut and flares have been added to fit 16x10 -25 wheels on all 4 corners. The tires currently on the car at Toyo Proxes R888's.- Car has new exhaust system. * There is probably more, this is just off the top of my head... I will continue to update this post. Email questions to Hill3312@gmail.com Body work details. - Both front fenders are new- Factory bumpers have been removed and replaced with front air dam and thin fiberglass bumper. - Entire car was sanded down to bare metal- A few spots that were rust damaged or dented have been filled. - Car is virtually rust free.- Undercoat was applied, frame rails were given extra attention, and even treated on the inside to prevent future rust issues.- A few coats of primer and black paint was sprayed.- Car is currently PLASTI DIPPED. Email me if you have not heard of this product.- The Plasti Dip was applied in a professional manner. Finish is smooth, coating is very durable. There are minimal defects as of right now.- Many many details on this vehicle have been modified...as you can see by the photos. This was a one of a kind build. Email me with questions. New interior parts. - All new carpets. - New diamond patterned black vinyl- New center consol- New shift knob cover- New shift knob- New sparco seats- New seat brakets- MSA dash cover- MOMO detachable steeringwheel- Rear deck cover- factory door panels and headliner are in excellent condition- interior looks new ** This car runs and drives great! Please understand that this build was not finished, and there are a lot of things that still need updating. Car could use new weather-stripping, and probably won't pass smog in many states. There is a small amount of play in the steering wheel, probably needs new steering rack bushings. Email me with questions, and I will do my best to answer them.
