Vehicle Detail
Selling my 1994 Ford Mustang Cobra with approximately 144,000 miles on the body. I've owned the car since January 2009 when I purchased it with 106,000 miles. It has always been garaged or covered since I've owned it and only used Mobil 1 synthetic oil. The car was originally a saddle cloth interior car, but I replaced it with black leather out of a 1995 Cobra and black carpet. The car has a clean title, and no accidents. It also will come with the original certificate of authenticity from Ford, and the original brochures. I'd give the exterior an 8/10, as well as, an 8/10 for the interior. The car has well over $10,000 invested in it. I'm going to try to list everything that has been done and/or replaced, but will likely forget something. Also, have receipts for practically everything. - Engine rebuilt approximately 13,000 miles ago with a DSS Racing level 10 factory block, Keith Black hypereutectic flat top pistons, Eagle I beam rods, and the re-machined stock crank- Full exhaust with BBK ceramic coated equal-length shorties, BBK catted x-pipe with CA legal truck cats, and a custom catback with Corsa race series mufflers (sounds awesome with minimal drone)- Rear-end rebuilt around 120,000 miles with Yukon 31 spline axles, 3.73 gears, 03-04 Cobra differential, welded axles, and a Trick Flow differential girdle- Ford Racing aluminum driveshaft - New Spec stage one clutch installed at 142,832 with new transmission fluid, pilot bearing, and throwout bearing - 03-04 Mach 1 center console - Steeda strut tower brace- E303 cam, AFR 165 cylinder heads, Ford Racing 30lb injectors, Trick Flow Street Heat intake manifold, 3/8 inch intake spacer, BBK 70mm throttle body, BBK cold air intake, MAC under-drive pullies, and Pro-M 75mm mass air flow sensor- Maximum Motorsports full length sub-frame connectors- 17 x 9 1995 Cobra R replica wheels with Nitto NT555 tires, 255s front and 275s rear with at least 5,000 miles left on them - 96-98 Cobra rear bumper cover with black lettering - UPR adjustable upper and lower rear control arms - Tokico blue struts and Bilstein shocks- Ford Racing water pump- Stock replacement radiator- Replaced the distributor, coil, harmonic balancer, wires, cap & rotor, ignition control module, and the ccrm- Aftermarket Sony CD player with audio in - Custom dyno tune at Powertrain Dynamics in Huntington Beach, CA with a chip, conservative tune making 284 rwhp and 305 rwtq (I think the truck cats and shorties are holding it back) - New starter - MGW short throw shifter - Transmission just rebuilt costing approximately $1,400 (have receipts) That should be mostly everything. The car is currently California C.A.R.B. legal if you need that. Small issues with the car:- AC stopped blowing cold recently - Car doesn't always love to idle with the E303 because the computers are finicky in the 94-95 cars, but most the time it is fine - Driver side header rubs on the steering shaft at low speed, which is a common problem with equal lengths, fix would be longtubes or unequal lengths - Car leaks some oil like all these cars, but minor - Transmission still whines some- Clutch got some grease on it from the transmission shop overly greasing the input shaft where the throw out bearing rides. It still works fine, but may have to be replaced eventually. You could easily drive this car daily if you wanted to. I just don't have the time or money for it anymore, sad to see it go. Let me know if you have any additional questions and happy bidding! NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES, CAR BEING SOLD AS IS.
