What you'll be bidding on is a 1958 Chevrolet Nomad/Brookwood. I had this up on auction before as not being a Nomad but was incorrectly advised. The 58 models indeed had a Nomad as a four-door. In any case, the body/names were mixed up but the vehicle you're bidding on is as the description states. If you had bid on this before, I'm sorry for the confusion. I was originally going to make into a project car but unfortunately due to some personal matters I cannot make this a priority and have to let it go. I actually wanted to turn this into a "Ghostbusters Ecto-1" in time for the new movie, as I'm a huge fan. Hopefully someone else can turn this into something great. The car was completely inspected by a quality car restoration business and some minor things were done to see how it was. A starter was installed and all connections/cables were cleaned. The engine was fired up and the timing issue was fixed so it is in good working condition. The rubber fuel lines and fuel filter were replaced and installed. The fuel tank was dropped to check on problems with fuel restriction and the sender removed. As you can see from the photos the body is still in very decent condition. This was described to me as being a "Texas Car" because of how it has aged well and the rust was minimal. - Cooling system - OK - Shifter - OK - Starting system - OK Of course several of the other major components of the vehicle, such as new brakes, etc. will have to be worked on/replaced/reinstalled and test driven. I originally purchased the vehicle with no seats and never got the chance to actually follow through with the project. The vehicle was originally brought on a trailer to its location.
