Finally got a new car, and selling our fx35. We bought it from the Infiniti dealer in 2008 and has been driven mainly when running the kids to sporting events and other functions. The exterior is dusty in the pictures, but washed and waxed, it shines nicely, and has a couple of little dings from car doors in the parking lot, a scrape around the front drivers wheel well, and scratches on the bottom of the drivers door (see the pictures). The car has all the bells and whistles that you would expect from an Infiniti, Power Sunroof, Power windows and doors, Tinted windows, Heated seats, Power tilt wheel, Front power seats, 6 disc CD with cassette with factory Bose speakers, Cruise Control, Trip, Maintenance, and Fuel Monitoring, Outside Temperature and Direction display, and of course, Air Conditioning. It has the 3.5L engine which runs well, and has quite a lot of power. We have always used full synthetic oil in it. There are no known leaks of any kind, it starts easily, warms up quickly, and drives smooth and quiet. Most of the maintenance has been provided by the dealership, other work has been performed by qualified service techs. Transmission shifts smoothly as well. As you can see in the pictures, the car needs cleaned out inside. The carpet below the drivers feet is torn, which could be taken care of with simple floor mats, and there is no damage to the floor itself (the underside of the car is amazing for a car its age). The drivers seat is also very worn, as you can see in the pictures, but is still very comfortable. I also wanted to make sure and get a few good pictures of the dash cover as well, cause the dash cover is in bad shape. In 2004, these cars had a defect in the dash covers, and many of them in hotter climates began to blister and bubble up. Infiniti did a recall on them, and we missed it. So, as you can see, the outer skin of the dash is mostly gone. These things are the reason that the reserve on this car is less than half of the price of any FX35's on Ebay now. We simply dont need the car anymore, but its been a great car for us, and it should be for whoever buys it. I recently drove it up from Tennessee to Indiana, and it drove wonderfully... Oh, and it does have a clear TENNESSEE title. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, and there will be a deposit of $500 within 24 hours after the end of the auction.
