Up for auction is my beautiful, always pampered, 1996 Ford F-250 XLT extended cab, long bed pickup. I am only the second owner. It has a clear Texas title in my name. Since I have owned it, I have changed the oil every 3,000 miles religiously using Mobil 1 high mileage synthetic. The transmission was rebuilt at 156,000 miles last year and new tires were put on at 145,000 miles. It is equipped with the 7.5L 460 engine and is RWD. The truck has never been in an accident and besides the rear bumper being dented from the previous owner backing into a pole, the exterior is almost perfect besides a few minor scratches. The paint still shines like new and this truck receives compliments everywhere I go. The previous owner used the truck to drive back and forth from Texas to Arizona and it has never seen snow or salt. There is absolutely no rust anywhere on this vehicle and is amazingly clean underneath as well. The interior is very nice with the exception of a burn mark on the driver's side seat made from my ex. Still a little upset about that debacle and no one has smoked in it since. It could be easily fixed. The 8 foot bed has a real Rhino liner spray on liner, not some do it yourself AutoZone job. I installed a Pioneer cd player with a USB port and AUX port. I also replaced the factory speakers with Pioneer aftermarket speakers. It was equipped with a trailer brake control unit when I bought it and I have left it intact. The previous owner also installed a keyless entry system. In March, a truck with a ladder backed into me in a parking lot and his insurance company repainted the hood, replaced the front grill, and gave me a brand new front bumper from Ford. This truck has always been meticulously cared for and I hate to see it go, but I recently acquired a second vehicle and I own a motorcycle so I couldn't justify paying an arm and a leg for insurance each month. Pickup or shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer. I will require a deposit of $500.00 through PayPal within 24 hours of the auction's end. The remaining balance will only be accepted by wire transfer, cash in person or a certified check that will have to clear my bank before the release of the vehicle.
