Vehicle Detail
Car is in excellent mechanical condition. Driven approximately once every week. New battery this year. Tires are 2 years old with about 6,000 miles driven on them. Intake system fully cleaned 2 years ago. There is a bit of belt noise and an occasional exhaust rattle, but no issues starting or driving the car. Air conditioning blows cold, heater works well. Engine is strong and has great acceleration. The power top, power seats, auto up and down windows work as they should. The car has the usual door dings, rock chips, etc. for a 14 year old vehicle. The wheels have a bit of curb rash and the shiny finish is chipping off (see pics). The top is in excellent condition and does not leak when it rains. The back window is not crystal clear as a new window would be, but is only slightly hazy and very easy to see through. There are a couple of missing plastic pieces from dash panel and radio. The leather finish on the seats is cracked but not rough to the touch. The rubber gasket around the antenna base is gone. The clips holding each seatbelt to the seat are broken. It doesn't affect the functionality of the seatbelts when driving, but they do not retract properly. The radio and CD player work well. The speakers sound fine at lower volume, but crackle and distort at higher volumes. Included with the car is a working alarm system with 2 remotes, 2 keys, car's user manual, clear wind deflector mounted on roll protection, and check engine reset tool for inspections and oil changes. There is an after-market cable to connect an iPod or iPhone to the radio. The seats have the worn bushings that are common to all of these cars, and move slightly forward and backward when accelerating or slowing down. The seats are still fixed securely to the car. It's not a safety issue, just a quirk. After-market bushings to fix this are available for approximately $20. The car is very fun to drive and pulls very strong when accelerating from rest or speed. Just start right up and go. There is no concern with driving this car cross-country. Buyer to be responsible for retrieving or shipping car. The car will be released to the successful buyer as soon as it's paid in full. Please note I reserve the right to end this listing early as the car is for sale locally and on other websites.
