Up for sale is my beloved Jaguar X-Type. I had this car since 2004 with 17,000 original miles. It took me plenty of places in style.After ten years of service it finally gave out through rust at the base of the front doors. My garage wouldn't pass it for inspection.Prior to the non-inspection it did start running rough. I suspected a spark plug or two as I've had to change a few in the past when it ran rough. I suspect more than one is misfiring, though the OBDC computer isn't stating a misfire. No major OBDC codes come up other than the catalytic converter. I wasn't about to pull the intake manifold off again to change the plugs, thought I should just let it go. I'm not guaranteeing it's a plug issue either, might be something else entirely, just saying the misfires in the past were similar.The transmission was replaced in this vehicle at 35,000 miles and has been fantastic ever since. Cosmetically it's got a few dings here and there - please look the photos over carefully. For the most part it's a solid car and I'm sure most of the parts are re-sellable. Basically letting it go for whatever it'll bring. Have fun bidding. Buyer must arrange for towing or flatbed transportation, though you're welcome to start it up and give it a local test ride. It's been sitting a year and may run rougher for that reason.
