Recently out of a 35 year storage period. An elderly man owned this car since 1975 and recently passed. He was 90 years old and born in 1925. I bought it from his estate earlier this year and because of financial reasons I am looking to sell and let someone else enjoy the car. Included with the sale of the car is a number of old registrations the man had along with a "Sales invoice" from when he bought it in 1975. Most things look to work in the car with the exception of the horn, temp gauge and the A/C blows warm. The AM radio even works but as you know always sounded pretty poor compared to todays radios. I had a new flowmaster dual exhaust installed on the car. Sounds Awsome. I also put on the car a set of Magnum 500 rally wheel simulators. The inside is original and shows decent and clean. The motor sounds nice, no knocks and runs smooth. It also has Power steering and Power disc up front. It has a good looking bias ply spare tire in the trunk that may be the original, not sure. Also the jack is under the spare. restore for perfection or use it basically as it is. Good looking underside that had alittle work years ago but still shows decent today. I did put in some pictures of the underside to show that with just alittle cleaning up underneath you could paint the underneath with some black paint to make it look very neat. The outside has mostly original chrome with the exception of a rear bumper that was somewhat recently replaced. The car had both rear quarter panels in the past. Probably back when it was painted about 30 years ago. The rest of the body looks decent. Not perfect but clean. I don't see any rust bubbles anywhere. The inside also shows ok but not perfect either compared to when new Sorry, just a realist ! This is a great car for someone that doesn't want to spend the huge dollars that some people out there are asking. I put a cheap "Buy it Now" so someone can get into a mustang at an affordable price !!! If you are anal or looking for a show car I suggest you look elsewhere. This is just a fun cruise night car you can get a ton of thumbs up with. And you can't miss hearing it as it sounds AWESOME out the back. . This is not a show car. Just a fun car that drives very decent. It starts great hot or cold and sounds great. There are no knocks and runs very smooth. It sounds GREAT thru the flowmaster dual exhaust. It feels good when you drive the car. Brakes work but the pedal is low. The miles show 22,214 that I can only assume has been over with the age of the car. As usual selling as is . This description is mearly my opinion.I would encourage anyone come inspect the vehicle or I believe ebay offers an affordable inspection service for piece of mind. Connecticut uses the registration and title as one so the new owner will receive that signed over by me along with a reassignment form / Bill of sale with the car. Some of the pictures look like the paint has faded to white,,,,,,,,, that is the camera as the car is an even color yellow and for the paint being over 30 years old it still shines Awesome.
