We have entry summary completed and stamped by customs already so it's ready to be registered by a new owner. The VIN number is clear and can be checked on vinaudit.com. We checked with Dallas County tax assessors and the first vehicle to be imported by anyone is not eligible to pay tax. Also, as the vehicle is over 25 years old, it's exempt from EPA emissions regulations and HS7 regulations. Wear and TearThis is a vintage, classic 1985 van so has some wear and tear, as can be expected. There's two tiny patches of rust, and the paintwork has some small chips. The original 80's stickers are peeling a bit. There is dent in the back driver-side door partially hidden by the spare wheel so it's not really noticeable and doesn't affect the structural integrity of the door. There are a few small chips in the windscreen that do not impair vision. Otherwise, the van is in good condition for its age. There are no mechanical problems. The interior has been spruced up but still maintains its vintage feel. The windows have been recently resealed. Van locationWe are based in the Fort Worth/Dallas area, but are willing to drive to other major Texas cities if required, such as Austin, Houston, San Antonio, or Amarillo. Please contact us in advance if this is the case so we can make arrangements. We love our van and are very sad to be selling him, but we have to fly home to England. We are looking for an owner who will love and look after him, and appreciate him for the retro, vintage van he is.
