As far as I know, it's in otherwise fine condition but interior could use a good cleaning. It was most recently checked out by a mechanic in July who couldn't find anything wrong with it, but when it shifts from first to second gear, sometimes the RPMs go up really high and it seems to have trouble shifting (it's an automatic). I'm the 2nd owner, I purchased it from the dealer (Garnet VW in West Chester), certified pre-owned. It had 50,000 at the time and currently has 112,000 miles. It's a 4 door hatchback 2007 VW Rabbit, 5L with sliding sunroof, a/c, heated seats, power windows and doors, alarm system, front and side airbags.It's due for inspection this month (November). I'm happy to answer any questions, go for a test ride, etc. It's not currently doing the weird shifting thing, it only happens intermittently. The check engine light is on and I am not paying to have it serviced, full disclosure. Otherwise it's been a really great car, never been in an accident, the exterior is in fine condition, a little rusting above the front driver's wheel bumper.
