This Jeep has only 102K ORIGINAL MILES!! Its been meticulously serviced and maintained as documented on the Carfax report itself. I also Had our own independent service/safety inspection performed by our local ASE Certified shop we use in which there are copies of the invoice that all recommended repairs/maintenance were performed, which included a front drive shaft & Yolk which cost 1K$+. All equipment and options are in working order without any hazard/warning indicator lights in the dash. This car was bought at a local Jeep Dealership- Milton Ruben of Augusta and was traded back into them for a new vehicle. It hasn't been up north or exposed to the salt.... It's been down south its entire life! As far as the cosmetic condition of the vehicle.... I believe the pictures speak for themselves. The common door dings, scratches, or paint imperfection do not exist. This is not a Brand New vehicle by any means but is as nice as a 17-year old one is to be found. The interior is equally as nice not having the typical rips, tears, or stains you would expect. The tires are matching and have approximately 75% of the tread left. This vehicle was garage kept and never smoked in, therefore it still has the scent of fresh leather. This a very rare vehicle, less than 15,000 were made and only a few are in this condition making this a very desirable and collectible vehicle to own. More importantly never being modified. I took close up pictures of the molding and the carpet, just to show how well kept and tight this Jeep is..To express my conviction of what a one of a kind vehicle this is.... I have the original key, remote, books, manuals, hang tags, mats and original paperwork to this Jeep. This vehicle is not all dented up, scratched up etc. It's the exception. The interior is equally as nice as the exterior never having been smoked in, along with not having the typical rips, tears, or stains. The leather is still plush and smells like it did when it was new. This vehicle is not new , but as close as it gets for a 17-Year Old Jeep. It has some minor touch-up spots, but nothing that would require repair. I am going to list the only items I noticed which driving it that would need attention to make it perfect. 1) The driver heated mirror is discolored (Per the Picture)2)The Central Vehicle Monitor Board says one "Tail Lamp Out" in the back....when they all work correctly. We checked them all. I would rather over describe than under describe anything I list on EBAY. This is why I have the feedback I do. I want everyone to understand if you do not feel comfortable nor have the means to pay for this vehicle immediately...... do not waste each others time. All of the above items are only available with and are in fact STANDARD on the 5.9 Limited. Performance: The 5.9 Limited was advertised as the "Worlds fastest sport utility vehicle" in advertisements that Jeep ran during 1998, and that was borne out by testing. A 1998 press release by Chrysler stated the following: ----- The following is a summary of changes to Chrysler's engines for 1998: In the 5.9L V-8 engine (Grand Cherokee, Dakota and Ram pick-up, and Ram van), a new camshaft adds up to 15 bhp and the torque curve is widened to provide more responsive performance in the normal driving range for all models. In addition, specific to the Grand Cherokee, 15 degrees more spark advance (which requires premium fuel) and a 25 percent reduction in backpressure makes a total increase of 25 bhp over the current 5.2L engine. The cooling fan motor is now electric, eliminating a power drain of up to 20 bhp. ----- The performance increases of the greater spark advance and electric fan are some of the main reasons the 5.9 Limited performed so much better than the other Chrysler trucks with 5.9L engines. This is a 2-Prior Owner CarFax and AutoCeck Certified Vehicle that has not been in a collision. This Jeep has only 102K ORIGINAL MILES!! Its been meticulously serviced and maintained as documented on the Carfax report itself. I also Had our own independent service/safety inspection performed by our local ASE Certified shop we use in which there are copies of the invoice that all recommended repairs/maintenance were performed, which included a front drive shaft & Yolk which cost 1K$+. All equipment and options are in working order without any hazard/warning indicator lights in the dash. This car was bought at a local Jeep Dealership- Milton Ruben of Augusta and was traded back into them for a new vehicle. It hasn't been up north or exposed to the salt.... It's been down south its entire life! As far as the cosmetic condition of the vehicle.... I believe the pictures speak for themselves. The common door dings, scratches, or paint imperfection do not exist. This is not a Brand New vehicle by any means but is as nice as a 17-year old one is to be found. The interior is equally as nice not having the typical rips, tears, or stains you would expect. The tires are matching and have approximately 75% of the tread left. This vehicle was garage kept and never smoked in, therefore it still has the scent of fresh leather. This a very rare vehicle, less than 15,000 were made and only a few are in this condition making this a very desirable and collectible vehicle to own. More importantly never being modified. I took close up pictures of the molding and the carpet, just to show how well kept and tight this Jeep is..To express my conviction of what a one of a kind vehicle this is.... I have the original key, remote, books, manuals, hang tags, mats and original paperwork to this Jeep. This vehicle is not all dented up, scratched up etc. It's the exception. The interior is equally as nice as the exterior never having been smoked in, along with not having the typical rips, tears, or stains. The leather is still plush and smells like it did when it was new. This vehicle is not new , but as close as it gets for a 17-Year Old Jeep. It has some minor touch-up spots, but nothing that would require repair.



I am going to list the only items I noticed which driving it that would need attention to make it perfect.





1) The driver heated mirror is discolored (Per the Picture)



2)The Central Vehicle Monitor Board says one "Tail Lamp Out" in the back....when they all work correctly. We checked them all.

Performance:

The 5.9 Limited was advertised as the "Worlds fastest sport utility
vehicle" in advertisements that Jeep ran during 1998, and that was borne
out by testing. A 1998 press release by Chrysler stated the following:

In the 5.9L V-8 engine (Grand Cherokee, Dakota and Ram pick-up, and Ram
van), a new camshaft adds up to 15 bhp and the torque curve is widened to
provide more responsive performance in the normal driving range for all
models. In addition, specific to the Grand Cherokee, 15 degrees more spark
advance (which requires premium fuel) and a 25 percent reduction in
backpressure makes a total increase of 25 bhp over the current 5.2L
engine. The cooling fan motor is now electric, eliminating a power drain
of up to 20 bhp.

The performance increases of the greater spark advance and electric fan
are some of the main reasons the 5.9 Limited performed so much better than
the other Chrysler trucks with 5.9L engines. The magazine test results
