1965 AMC Rambler MARLIN As pictured, 1965 Rambler Marlin for sale. Restoration of this Marlin stopped in 1994. It was painted at that time as evidenced by 1994 newspaper used to mask the paint job. The pics are as it was retrieved, not washed or cleaned up. It was stored indoors. Seats seem to be in good shape. It's a 232 automatic. I am told it has a rebuilt transmission and did run when put into storage. The right rear brake drum is locked and the motor appears to be stuck. One of the nicer bodies I've seen. There is some rust through by the foot wells and below the wiper housing. I believe I have all the chrome and emblems (even though not pictured) but cannot guarantee it as I haven't matched everything up. I do have all four hubcaps. The windshield was removed for painting and never reinstalled. Bad tires. This Marlin has been sitting for 22+ years, stored indoors. Worthwhile project, these old Marlins are very hard to find and rarely are they this complete. Clear Virginia title, properly endorsed. Sold strictly "as is" with no warranty. VIN is 2101788.
