Beautiful condition 1973 Honda CB450. Everything works and runs just as it should. This bike is in exceptional shape! The tank and side covers have been painted the light ruby red color from the 1972 model. I am a purist at heart when it comes to keeping everything original but the green and brown options from '73 just didn't excite me enough when I planned on making this bike the way I thought it should be. Everything else on this motorcycle is either original or NOS Honda parts. The tank is flawless inside. Absolutely no rust or grime. The gas cap and petcock are NOS Honda parts. All badges are near mint original pieces that I chose for this particular bike to match the condition of the body. The chrome is in exceptional shape for being original. The fenders are straight as an arrow and have no dents or rash. The exhaust has no rust, dings, dents of any type. The only flaw is the typical battery acid drops on the right side muffler. I planned on polishing the engine cases and coating them but after I acquired another vintage rider and almost regrettably chose to sell this one, I thought I would leave the look of the engine up to the next owner. I have installed a brand new battery, fork boots, rear brake light switch, Honda OEM mirrors, tank rubber, points and condenser and the aforementioned cosmetic parts listed above. The tires should be replaced soon. They hold air, but this is another detail I figured would be more suited for the next owner to decide on. The vehicle will be sold with a clear Iowa title. I will require a $500.00 PayPal deposit from the highest bidder within 24 hours of purchase. I prefer the remaining balance to be paid by wire transfer, cash in person, or a certified check which will have to clear my bank before the release of the bike.
