I am offering for sale my 1948 Triumph Roadster 1800, TRD 1974. I have valid Michigan title. I had high hopes of doing a full restoration but find that I am no longer up to the task. I have owned the car since 2008. The car has not run in over 30 years, motor will still turn over. This is a numbers matching car. I have original intake manifold and many parts not shown on the car. This car was used for parts for another car by previous owner, but is complete to the best of my knowledge. He had 2 1800's and swapped parts between them, the parts he swapped off the other car are perfectly good. The wood framing is very solid. Car body is all aluminum except front fenders which are steel. Front fenders have surface rust, but no holes.
Will assist with shipping arrangements. Will deliver in local area for mileage.

Starting after Sept 1948, the motor was increased from 1800cc to 2000cc and the transmission was revised from a 4 speed to a 3 speed. The model was changed to 2000 and was built till the end of 1949, only 2000 were built. The 1800/2000 roadster was the Standard motor company's first attempt at a sports car. The 1800/2000 was followed by the TR2 in 1952 and the TR3 etc.. thru the TR8.
