This is a 1one of a kind 1964 Baja Convertible "California car". Vin # is GN827790 The car started out as a convertible from the factory and is not a chop-top. The car is 100% rust free and is in excellent condition. The 1776 c.i. engine starts right up and runs extremely well. No leaks. smoke or strange noises. The clutch is A+ and shifting through all the gears is easy. The brakes, steering and suspension are in great shape. The car steers straight and handles well with a very solid and tight drive-train. A lot of fun to drive! All heater channels are good and the floors/battery pan and undercarriage are 100% solid and rust free (rare). The interior floors have been professionally coated with Rhino liner which is very durable and will protect it from the elements in the future. The interior is very clean and well sorted out. There is a custom made storage box in the rear with no backseat. The car comes with a nice half button mounted bikini top which fits beautifully over the roll bar and was very nicely done. The seats are in great shape with virtually no wear. Authentic vintage wooden period correct door panels (nice touch). The wooden steering wheel also adds a lot of character/appeal. There is a small missing piece of wood on the steering wheel that fell off (see pics) and has since been re-attached. Very Low Reserve for a great car. -The radio face is missing. -Nice pedals, levers and accessories-Nice paint shine. A few chips 1 on drivers side fender as shown in pictures. -Custom front bumper guard/rear engine cage-Nice wheels-Tires hold air but are older and in fair condition.This is a very special find and lots of fun to drive..
