Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1976 Ford F-150 Custom 4x4 pickup truck. This was an original truck that is still in very straight, and sound turn-key driver condition. It rides at about the same height as it's High Boy F-250 big brother; looks tough and sits just right. A strong runner and driver suitable for daily driving, the truck features its original 360 V8 engine and four-speed manual transmission; well-maintained over the years. The truck starts with ease, runs smoothly, and drives very well. Not a high-tech ride by today's standards, but she runs great, shifts smoothly, brakes straight, and goes down the road straight. Power steering and power brakes make it a pleasure to drive. The clutch is strong and has a solid pedal feel, as do the brakes. The interior remains original in blue, and is in average or above condition, with a nice un-cracked dash pad. The lights, brake lights, turn signals, etc. all operate properly. The glass is in good condition all around, and the side windows operate properly. The body is overall quite straight, and is free from outer- body rust, with only minor surface rust in the bed. This is NOT a rusty truck at all; all but completely rust free. The paint is the original M-code Wimbledon White, with touch-ups here and there; it ls almost all original so you can see any ding, dent, or scratch... all small stuff. It does have some extra small holes drilled in the bed from tool boxes, etc. While it's a Custom trim level truck, it does have the fancy Ranger side trim and rear tailgate panel, which looks great. The driver's side floor had one very minor perforation where the rubber mat failed (half-dollar or so in size); it has been repaired. The four-wheel-drive operates as it should, and features 2H, N, 4H, and 4L positions, and includes the locking front hubs. Currently wearing black aluminum modular wheels wheels with ~32" M/S radials; sound for now but you should plan on replacing them soon. Clear title, matches VIN exactly for inspection, export, etc. You may call me directly at 360-936-9257 with any questions you may have. Please be prepared to remit payment in full via major bank cashier's check, deposit into my Bank of America account, or bank-to-bank wire transfer. While every effort is being made to describe the truck as accurately as possible, it is in fact a 39-year-old classic vehicle, and therefore being sold as-is, without warranty or guarantee expressed, written, or implied. Shipping is the full responsibility of the buyer; I will make myself and the truck available for your carrier on short notice.
