Selling my 1986 Chevrolet Silverado. Its a 4x4 k-10 model with the silverado trim package. These 4wd trucks with the carpeted interior and power options are becoming very hard to find! This southern truck is a true survivor. It has the original gray paint and original side trim still all intact. The paint is showing its age on the hood and roof and has peeled off the roof resulting in some surface rust and a small bubble in the drivers cab corner (shown in pics). There is a small dent in the drivers side front fender and a scratch above the right rear tailight, all shown in pics. Otherwise the truck has a very straight body. All glass is good, windshield is less than a few months old. The inside of the bed has a factory installed bedliner, however i removed it to take pics to show how incredibly straight and well taken care of the inside of the bed is. It will be re-installed. The interior is in great shape for the age. Has had a high quality dash cap installed some time back that looks great. The truck was factory equipped with a 5.0 litre engine but was replaced with a new GM 5.7 litre crate engine around 45k miles ago. At this time the 700r4 overdrive trans was rebuilt also. The engine has an aluminum intake, headers, and holley 4bbl carb. The motor is strong and runs very well. Transmission pulls strong and shifts smooth. Four wheel drive works great! Just like it should. The truck had factory A/C but was left off with engine change, it is missing the compresssor amd condensor. Heat works well. The truck has the factory 10 inch wide rally wheels with BFG all-terrain tires showing their age, tread on front tires are at around 40% life while the rears are probably closer to 15-20% life left. This survior truck is a great example of a square body chevy! Would be a great truck to restore as it needs very little, or continue to drive as is! The truck is also for sale locally and i reserve the right to end the auction at anytime prior to my modest reserve being met, once the reserve is met I WILL NOT end the auction early. a $500.00 non-refundable deposit is expected within 24 hrs of auctions end via paypal.
