Sold new in San Jose CA to a local Doctor who traded it in to Ferrari of Los Gatos in 1983, the 2nd and last owner of the past 32 years took his 356C Cab in and traded for this. He has taken meticulous care of it and kept all receipts since his purchase in '83. He color changed it to Silver in '93 which still looks great. It has never been hit or rusty. Still has its original engine (#128030) converted to Webers recently. The original Solexes, air cleaners, intakes and all nuts and bolts have been saved and come with the car. Very good interior. Seats, targa top and soft window appear to have been redone recently and are all in great condition. Mechanically delightful. No smoke on start up, good power, great transmission and clutch. A delight to drive. Equipped with a factory wood wheel. Comes with:- the aforementioned records, all its original books including the maintenance record book, etc. Plus its original jack and toolkit. The spare is also a Fuch. There are some great assorted covers and parts that accompany the car. This is a wonderful example - the integrity of which we see very infrequently these days. I would love to repaint it in its original Ossi Blue but is more than presentable in its current state. These soft window targas are rare anyway and to find one so well cared for is becoming unusual.
