Only 1450 SL500 Silver Arrows were produced! This is a very nice specimen which is mechanically sound and has not been in any accidents! Silver Arrow models feature ultra metallic paint, a fully lined black soft-top, a brushed-aluminum instrument cluster with chrome bezels, and aluminum trim on the wind deflector, shift gate, pedals, grille and trunk lid. New two-piece alloy wheels hold 18-inch tires. Xenon high-intensity-discharge headlights and a six-CD changer are installed, and brake rotors are factory-drilled. This SL500 Silver Arrow drives incredible. The 315 HP engine purrs like a Benz and has plenty of power to get you moving down the road with the top down. The suspension is very tight and will take you through those tight turns on country roads with ease. The drive train is in very good condition, engine starts with ease, tranmission shifts very nicely through all the gears, and the brakes are very firm and quiet. Overall, the is a great driver quality collector vehicle. With ony 75K miles, it is in very solid condition. The silver paint shines very well and has minimal scratches and just a few very minor dents (see pics). The black convertible soft top functions properly and goes up and down with ease. The special edition interior is also, very nice. The two tone leather seats, appear original, and only the drivers rear seat bolster has minor wear (see pic). The carpet is excellent, with no stains or tears. The instrumentation all seems to operate correctly. The pixels in the climate control and radio are all good. The center console has some minor bubbling in the wood grain trim(see pic).We chose this SL500 simply because we felt it was in excellent conditon for a 14 year old car, and has obviously been well cared for. Look at this very special Silver Arrow SL!! Only 1450 SL500 Silver Arrows were produced! This is a very nice specimen which is mechanically sound and has not been in any accidents! Silver Arrow models feature ultra metallic paint, a fully lined black soft-top, a brushed-aluminum instrument cluster with chrome bezels, and aluminum trim on the wind deflector, shift gate, pedals, grille and trunk lid. New two-piece alloy wheels hold 18-inch tires. Xenon high-intensity-discharge headlights and a six-CD changer are installed, and brake rotors are factory-drilled.
This SL500 Silver Arrow drives incredible. The 315 HP engine purrs like a Benz and has plenty of power to get you moving down the road with the top down. The suspension is very tight and will take you through those tight turns on country roads with ease. The drive train is in very good condition, engine starts with ease, tranmission shifts very nicely through all the gears, and the brakes are very firm and quiet.
Overall, the is a great driver quality collector vehicle. With ony 75K miles, it is in very solid condition. The silver paint shines very well and has minimal scratches and just a few very minor dents (see pics). The black convertible soft top functions properly and goes up and down with ease. The special edition interior is also, very nice. The two tone leather seats, appear original, and only the drivers rear seat bolster has minor wear (see pic). The carpet is excellent, with no stains or tears. The instrumentation all seems to operate correctly. The pixels in the climate control and radio are all good. The center console has some minor bubbling in the wood grain trim(see pic).
We chose this SL500 simply because we felt it was in excellent conditon for a 14 year old car, and has obviously been well cared for. Sure you can find a 20K miles Silver Arrow for 35-40K, but for a fraction of that, you can buy this example and not feel bad about driving it, enjoying it, and putting many more reliable miles on the odometer.
