Some folks believe that a vehicle with a salvage title has to have a percentage of damage to get a salvage brand. This is simply not true. The salvage title is simply the way for insurance companies to release liability from any further claim. No matter the damage every vehicle that is paid off by insurance get a salvage title. This includes a theft recovery car with zero damage also gets a salvage title. Allstate has a new perk to get new customers which states if you get in an accident in the first year they will give you a new car no matter the damage including a minor bumper damage.
