1963 Comet S22 ConvertibleThis is a rare Oakville, Ontario-made convertible featuring a unique yellow exterior and olive-grey interior.Everything on this car works.Tires and brakes are good.Paint has bubbled off down to primer in the area under the gas cap due to an over-zealous gas station attendant (over-filled).Strong running engine ... drives very well.The engine is a 1966 289 that was installed somewhere along the way. That engine was pulled and professionally rebuilt top& bottom by Coleman Dillon Automotive in Tecumseh Ontario in 2011. Also rebuilt or replaced at that time were Starter, Generator, Radiator, Points, Brakes & lines, Fuel Pump, Power Steering Hoses and Column Shift Detent. New battery and accellerator linkage 2015.Electric top works well and latches down securely.All door handles and crank handles work.Car is equipped with seat belts.This car is meant to be driven and enjoyed.
