MAKE OFFER!I'm looking to sell my 1966 Ford Econoline 8-Door Super Van. Original factory Ford 240ci straight six, 3 on the tree and the highly desirable 9" rear. Shows 54k miles but not sure if this is original mileage. There had only been about 900 of these 8-door vans produced for the 1966 model year. This van was originally sold out of the Dallas Texas Sales Office and never left Texas until I purchased it. This van is in better condition then most you will find in the North East part of the country. There is surface rust and "patina" but NO rot in the exterior body. The underside of the van, frame, fuel tank etc is in great condition. The windshield had leaked prior to me purchasing so it'll need a gasket ($40 Mac's Auto Parts). Water had seep through the windshield gasket and laid under the shag rug which had been in it causing some rot in the rear floor and a few very small holes in the passenger side front floor. The van has been sitting for a while and is not currently running however the motor does turn freely. The van will need a new ignition cylinder ($15 Mac's). I put in a newer battery and fairly new tires all around a couple months ago. One wheel is cracked thus allowing the tire to leak air slowly. Rear doors do not open as the rear door handle needs to be repaired or replaced. This van is one of the best candidates for restoration I've seen. It would make a great advertisement vehicle for any business! You could always get it running and drive it as is or restore it to show quality. No title or paperwork. Original keys, factory shop manual and wiring diagrams all included. Please see detailed photos. Sold as is with no warranty.
