Vehicle Detail
For sale my 1993 Cadillac Allante. This was a $60,000 car designed by Ferrari and built in Italy. It was the last year of the Allante and the first year of the Cadillac North Star engine. This model was the pace car for the 76th Indy 500. It has many fancy improvements over the earlier models. My car has 118,000 miles on it which is not much for a North Star. It is tight, easy riding, with no leaks from the engine. It has a great sound system, all leather interior, which is in great shape. All the glass is good and the soft top is good. I found and purchased a hard top from a 90 model. I have made the modifications to let it fit the 93. It is maroon and needs to be painted to match the car. The car Polo green and there were only 88 cars painted that color. There are two small dents that are too small to show with the camera. The car looks good as is but I planned to have it all painted and touched up but I am having too much trouble with the joints in my body to continue playing with cars. The Allante needs a home that will complete the restoration. (Very little left to do) In the pictures I took you can see the lifting apparatus that I made that will go with the car. I also have the owner's manual and an expensive service manual. The only issue left to resolve is the passenger window is acting up. It goes up but has a sometimes yes and sometimes no attitude on going back down. I put in a new window motor, and have checked out everything that I could think of but I can not seem to find the problem. The window is up so I am through looking for the problem. The new owner will have to take on that challenge. Ask all the questions you wish.
