Vehicle Detail
Very Unique, Very Street-able 1972 Honda CB Bobber custom built by the guys at Steel Bend Customs in the Spring. Built as a shop bike and purchased by me in May, this bike is awesome. Loud, Fun to ride and everyone that seems me honks their horn, gives the thumbs up, takes pics, etc. Hands sit straight out, low and fat and easy to put your feet on the ground. 750CC Takes up a lot of real estate and sits almost Japanese Bobber style with big thin tires equal height. One of 3 bikes I own and season riding for the summer. Only logged 100 miles on it and didn't get as much use as I would have liked. By far my nicest bike and was afraid to ding it up here in DC. Selling on eBay simply because it isn't going to be used in the winter here and come spring I might be moving overseas. Currently getting normal servicing done and the carb rebuilt to allow better flow. Super trick set up on the gas tank for fuel level and a cool bike overall. There is no odometer, but has logged 1000ish miles since being completely rebuilt by Steel Bent. 25k on the title but rides like a newer bike. Most of their builds aren't in this style, it is definitely unique. Message me with any questions and Good luck. You will love it. I promise that. From the Builder:1972 Honda CB750 SOHC bobber built by Steel Bent Customs in Tampa Florida. We built the bike as a "shop bike", but everything is always for sale & we'll always build another. We modified the frame with a CycleOne hardball, black gloss power coat on frame, rims, forks & engine cases16' front & rear rims are Harley laced up to the stock CB750 hubs, stainless steel spokes, custom straight pipe exhaust, TC Bros oil bag & forward controls, peanut tank with fuel indicator, Dyna Electronic ignition, kick starts on the first/second kick every time, vintage breadbox air cleaner. Copper paint on the tank & fender with our signature Steel Bent Customs logo. No turn signals (we use our hand signals). We've added a little length to the exhaust since the professional photos were taken & wider handle bars. Runs & rides great. California bike -title is vin to the engine.
