Beautiful 1997 Honda ST 1100 in excellent condition, literally looks like new and runs as good as it did on day one. The motorcycle has quite literally never seen A drop of rain or a night sitting outside in 18 years. Red in color with all options including side attached cases. See above description for more specifics. The tires are in excellent condition, they have 90% or greater treadwear remaining. Records from the Texas DMV verify mileage on this motorcycle is true and accurate. The records which are kept by the state indicate mileage on each annual inspection. This would validate the extremely low mileage 11,350 on a 1997 model motorcycle. I recently had maintenance done on the motorcycle in June 2015 which included new tires, new spark plugs, oil change, having the gas tank drained and cleaned, carburetor cleaned, all fluids (brake and otherwise) drained and replaced. * there was never any rust in the gas tank, nor has there ever been. It was drained only for the purposes of maintenance. New battery was purchased in June 2015 as well. Also included with the motorcycle are two helmets and two "rain slickers" which have never been worn. Also included is a 12 V plug in charger which can be attached to an extension cord on the motorcycle to keep the battery charged in case the bike is left sitting for a prolonged period. Motorcycle is located in Dallas Texas, buyer is responsible for shipping but I will do whatever is necessary to help facilitate the shipping or pick up of the bike. I HAVE OWNED AN ST 1300 ALSO AND WOULD NEVER OWN ONE AGAIN. MANY FEEL THE ST1100 IS A MUCH. BETTER BIKE THAN THE PROBLEM PLAGUED ST 1300. ***Things about the ST1100 that are better than the ST1300: Longer wheelbase for improved high speed stability Lower mounted gastank for improved handling/center of gravity Carburetor for no throttle snatch Unlinked brakes for easier bleeding/fluid flushing. Also no corrosion issues in secondary master cylinder (because there isnt one) Easier to change the coolant (and add coolant) Less displacement = better mileage (my 11 avereaged 47 mpg. The 13 was 44 on the highway. One piece fuel tank eliminates possible troublesome rubber hose that connectes the two tanks of the 1300. Camshafts come out (and go in) easier (no chain tensioner) Runs on regular Things about the 13 that are better than the 11: Metal gas tank alllows magentic tank bags.
