Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a 1979 Genuine Z-28I have owned this car since 1993 and have put numerous hours, tons of money, and TLC into restoring this car.Very hard to part with but family comes first. So, my loss will be someone else's gain. Engine is 383 Stroker that has been professionally built. Was built in 2001 and was barley driven with 1,200 on engine. It has an aggressive cam lift of 525" Nice lopey idle and sounds amazing when you get on it. Has Chevy 202" 165" valves. Heads have been massaged with some porting and polishing. Has forged pistons. Holly contender manifold edelbrock, 750 CFM carb. Hooker headers with 2.5" exhaust and flowmaster mufflers. Engine runs strong, sounds great. Has 350 built transmission and 3,000 stall converter. With B&M QuickSliver ratcheting shifter. Odometer reads 80,772 when I purchased the car before restoration. A lot of suspension work has been done. New upper and lower ball joints, tie rods, idler arm etc. Has competition engineering adjustable drag shocks in the front and rear. New drive shaft and drive shaft loop with new U-Joints. New auburn posi with 456 richmond gears. New Landrum read leaf springs with competition engineering dragshocks and Lakewood traction bars. Has welled racing rims in the front and rear and Mickey Thompson ET Street Slicks in the rear and Skinnies in the front. Frame has been tied together with welled in frame ties. Also in 2001 undercarriage was sandblasted and black rubber undercoated. Also the trunk was refinished and coated. Has 12 gallon fuel cell, braided fuel lines, has electric mallory fuel pump and mallory fuel filter. Interior has been completely redone, reupholstered front and read seats. New door panels, new carpet, new headliner, new shifter console. New front and rear dyed black kick panels. Car was originally a four speed manual from the factory and still has the clutch pedal. Has original dash which has been dyed black and has one small rip. The only thing left to be done is to replace gage panel or remount it. It is sagging some. Has power windows still working, motors are just running kind of slowly because they are the originals. Has costume House of Color paint and flames. Car was painted in 2001 with very little body work this is no bondo-bucket, car was very straight. Paint still looks and shines like new as you can see in the photos. Paint alone cost me $5,400. I love this car and have had it for 22 years now. I have put a lot of money and time into this car. Car has never been driven in rain or snow, has always been garage kept and covered. This car is turn key ready to drive & cruise anywhere. Car gets a ton of compliments and attention. DEPOSIT: Deposit of $500 must be deposited immediately when auction closes. Buyer has 5 days to pay. Also has Moroso springs in the front. Heater core and section have been removed and fire wall done nicely which I think looks a ton better with out all that balk.On Oct-30-15 at 16:02:08 PDT, seller added the following information: Added a picture of fuel cell in trunk which did not up load when first listed. On Oct-31-15 at 17:15:19 PDT, seller added the following information: Has 4" cowl fiber glass hood.
