Although this 2003 Subaru Impreza wagon starts, runs, idles, and drives okay, it will currently overheat after just a few miles of normal driving. The temperature gauge spikes and the radiator overflow tank boils over. Check engine light is on. Mechanic said the head gaskets will need replacement. Head gasket sealant did not work. On the brighter side, the exhaust pipe, muffler, oxygen sensor, front right axle and battery have all been replaced within the last year. Body's in decent shape with minimal scuffs and dings, very slight rust is beginning above the rear wheel wells. Solid Alpine stereo. Purchased through a dealership two and a half years ago, this has been a great and reliable vehicle. Fabulous in the snow. Superb 5-speed manual transmission pep and handling. Available in western Connecticut to be picked up, towed, or shipped at buyers expense. Paypal deposit preferred. Cash or cashier's check at pick up. Other reasonable payment options considered. Cannot be driven away. Must be towed or otherwise transported. Car being sold 'as is' in need of major engine repair to be fully roadworthy again.
