1950 Chevy Suburban Carryall patina paint Rebuilder, Resto-mod,Ratrod No Reserve Auction! 1950 Chevy Suburban Project truck Engine runs! This auction is for my project truck. I have a clear title for this truck. I have run out of time to complete this suburban. I have included photo's of the truck when I removed the body to inspect the chassis. This truck frame is in great shape! Surface rust only on the frame. There are no rust holes thru the chassis anywhere! Transmission, clutch, brakes have not been tested. This truck was last plated and driven in the mid 80's. I recently removed the fuel tank (was badly rusted so I disposed of the tank) and after installing new plugs, cap and 12 volt coil was able to run the engine on a gas can for a few min. ENGINE RUNS ON GAS CAN. I was planning to build this truck myself but have run out of time. My loss is your gain. This truck could be restored to origional or converted to look like a panel truck or the very rare canopy express. The location of this truck is Middlebury IN 46540 - Local pick up only please. This truck is complete other than the following parts that I have removed. Fuel tank Under hood wiring throttle and choke cable Glass/side sliding windows (These are all cracked but I will be including them in this auction) The hood, fenders and doors all have some rust and/or dents but could be repaired by the right body guy. As you probably know most of these body parts can be replaced with new metal. I have tried to show as many photo's as possible to show the problem areas. I have all the side glass however, the only glass that is not broken, cracked or de-laminating is in the upper rear hatch. The rear floor appears to be the origional floor and still has the seat brackets installed. Running boards are loose and the gasket from body to top of running boards is gone. One upper hatch support bracket is missing. Front floor is gone but firewall is good. Below are the pictures of the Chassis prior to the body being re-installed. Chassis is same as pickup frame other than (4) small angle brackets shown above just in front of rear shock mount.
