Very original condition Business Coupe. Dry, solid California car. Sold new at Downey Chevrolet in Los Angeles. Very nice overall with excellent glass and brightwork. A couple of minor spots of garage rash on an otherwise very straight and solid body. Interior is stock, seat and rear bench has been reupholstered, headliner and dash are original. Stock, original drive train with 216 cid 6 cylinder engine with believed accurate 69,000 miles. Starts easily with choke, no smoke. Consistent compression across all cylinders. Could use brake shoes and a general maintenance look-over, but otherwise runs out nicely. Originally intended as an entry for the Hemmings Great Race in 2016. Our choice of entry has changed and so this '41 Chevy is now available to a new guardian. This car is a really solid starting point for a street machine or historic restoration.
