Vehicle Detail

Will sell or ship anywhere worldwide Well, it would appear that I'm on a selling spree. Might be a good time to ride that wave of momentum to sell my old truck. It's been one of "those things"... Too good to sell -- no use keeping. As you can imagine... the "too good to sell" has been the over-riding factor. Still is but, here goes....... Fairly rare 1-ton. These were the Heavy-Hauler of their day. Their capability for carrying weight and towing was quite remarkable. This one was taken straight from the dealership in 1978, had the factory canopy removed, and had a large, top-of-the-line camper put into it's place. This was the family RV, and the camper remained for many years. The truck was used only recreationally. With every passing year, the truck was used less and less. By the time the truck was 10 years old, the camper was removed, and the original canopy put back in place. The truck remained parked in the backyard with the intention of being used recreationally but, that didn't happen. In the late '80's, and after several years of sitting, the truck went through a full mechanical to replace all the dried seals, filters, battery, and get everything back in order. It was moved across town, parked, and remained another ten years. At that time, it went through another full service to get it out of yet another hibernation. The carburetor was rebuilt, all the hoses and lines replaced, new filters, new battery. It was driven briefly for enjoyment and, for a short time after. That's when I discovered it. We had everything gone through yet again, and intended upon using it. It's a beautiful looking classic hauler. I planned on pulling our boat when we were going to local lakes with it, and for weekend jaunts to the cabin. But... we hadn't. In the whole time I've owned it, I've driven it less than 500 miles in total. Nearly all the mileage I put on was solely for maintenance purposes, and to keep the truck in good working order. So, here it is gentlemen..... An original classic F-350 Ranger XLT Supercab, with only 36,000 actual and original miles!!! Now, I know what you might be thinking... We've all gone to see so-called "low-mileage" trucks with 5-digit odometers; only to drive away absolutely disappointed. I may have even seem some on Ebay (shock, surprise!!!). But, yes it's true.... just because there isn't a 6th digit, some people will try be dishonest. Let me assure you however... This truck does not have 136,000, 236,000, or even 336,000 miles. The truck comes provided with all provenance. There's paperwork, receipts, and even a mileage and service log that was kept. Everything is documented. This IS an actual low mileage truck... with proof. Condition:Well, it's not perfect but, it's nice, and it's nice looking. Plus, it's a nice runner and nice driver. But, what's nice to me might not be nice to you. So, to avoid any disappointments, I'll describe the paint as a 1 out of 10. There's chips, scuffs, touch-up's, and small scratches. The truck is 37 years old. The interior is really nice. The seats and carpets show no wear whatsoever. It just hasn't been used much, and it shows. Mechanically, it's been gone through, and has less mileage than most 2 and 3 year old trucks but, it is old. It runs really-really strong, sounds super excellent, and drives very-very well but, I cannot guarantee anything age-related may not deteriorate with time. All in all, I'd be most comfortable describing this as a project truck to avoid a difference in opinion. I would rather promise less, and deliver more. You decide what you'd like to pay. I'm intent upon a sale, and have placed the reserve ridiculously low to make sure. This sale isn't all about money. This truck should go somewhere where it is enjoyed. I haven't been able. What I would like however, is to expand my good feedback. I have money and can always get more -- What I'm interested in is expanding my good feedback. Which, by the way, is a darned difficult thing with our small fleet 30-plus year old vehicles that we've tried relocating to new homes. One man's gold is always another's garbage - or vice versa. Look over the pics. Look at my feedback. And decide what you'd like to pay. I'm pretty intent upon a sale. Have fun fellow enthusiasts!
