2005 Honda Element LX Manual 4WD SUVI am selling my 2005 Element. It has had one owner and been meticulously cared for, regular maintenance performed as recommended by Honda from day one to today. It passed both safety and emissions inspections on October 14, 2015, and has 239,328 miles today. It has been in 1 minor incident, a low speed accident where I was stopped at a light and the driver behind me bumped the car from the rear. It was drive-able and only caused minor damage to the rear plastic cladding. I had it completely repaired. No significant damage ever. The engine sounds and runs great, and the car shifts well (the clutch was replaced in 2013). It has good alignment and drives well. Tires were replaced 20,000 miles ago, with Yokohama Geolanders (I usually get 70,000 or more from a set of these). The brakes have 60% left. The exterior is Sunset Orange Pearl, a beautiful, deep metallic orange which contrasts handsomely with the grey plastic body panels. The paintwork is glossy and has a few very minor chips, scratches and dings as one would expect for its age. The rims are in typical shape for their age, some of the paint is worn to the inside of the openings. The roof of the car has a large pop up sunroof near the rear that is nice for star gazing; this car was made to camp in! I’m including the privacy curtain set and screen that fits over the sunroof. Also included is a Yakima roof rack system. It also has custom built aluminum boat tie down points on the hood. The interior is clean. No smoking and no pets. I installed an aftermarket Pioneer am/fm stereo with CD and MP3/USB. It has a remote for advanced features, and the front plate comes off for security if desired. The front seats have custom made Wet Okole seat covers with trim that matches the orange exterior paint and grey interior perfectly. They have additional zippered storage on both seat backs. They were placed over a small repaired seam tear in the right front seat and look better than the original. The removable rear seats are in great condition, just some minor scratches on the side of the right seat’s plastic cup holder, some scuffs on the plastic cover for the left seat attachment and on the left door speaker. These spots are where a bicycle rubbed a bit when transported inside the vehicle. Rear passengers have tons of room and reclining seats with stadium seating that allows a view over the front seats. And the seats are easily folded up and attached to the side of the car, or can be removed completely, leaving a flat floor for hauling or sleeping.
