2000 Chevrolet K2500 Crew Cab Short Bed 4x45.7L Vortec/ 4L80e/ 8600 lbs.*Rare body style, only made in 1999 and 2000 with the crew cab short bed. Truck was restored about 5 years ago, but has been on daily driver duty since. Body has 302k miles on it, but a lot of things on this truck are new or have been addressed. Engine was replaced about 2 years ago and it runs and drives great. Truck was painted about 5 years ago with the addition of a 2'' cowl hood (steel). Since then truck has had an encounter with a pole while going through a drive thru on the passenger bedside thanks to the wife. Truck still cleans up pretty good though. Tailgate was stolen one night sitting behind the house, but I will include a very nice tailgate with truck but it is green. I have added aftermarket tow mirrors and all aftermarket lighting. Truck is sitting on Raceline wheels, with 285/75/16 mud terrains that have around 3k miles on them. I also added long tube headers and dual exhaust, truck sounds pretty good. On the inside, carpet was pulled out and floor was sound proofed with Eastwood sound deading, and new carpet was then installed at the same time about 5 years ago, it has some stains now, will more than likely clean up. It also has an upgraded stereo with flip up screen, with aftermarket speakers throughout the truck. Truck also has sprayed in bedliner. Driver door needs door pins badly, getting tough to use the door, and drivers door panel is tore up at the bottom. The truck has cold A/C and heat will blow you out. Four wheel drive is push button and works great. All gauges and lights work as the should, same with all windows. Power locks do not work. I have replaced the brakes recently, but the truck suffers from a somewhat low feeling brake pedal and from the research I've done, this is a normal condition for the body of a truck with this mileage. Truck still stops itself fine. I would honestly trust this truck anywhere and is a serious worker. Runs, drives and tracks down the road the way it should. Just needs a little TLC to be back at it's former glory, or drive it as it is.
