Up for sale is a wonderful example of a 1979 Porsche 911sc Targa This car has just came out of long term ownership since 1986!I have service records/stamps in the original service record book, And Dealer invoice showing the owner/ trading in his Porsche 924 Turbo for this car!It has been in Texas for a very long time which equates to NO RUST Factory A/C, Power Windows & Cruise controlRare Oak Green Metallic Paint Mechanicals:The car has sat for the better part of 2 years, The fuel smells stale, but the car still fires up and runs strong. The motor pulls very hard, and the gear shifts are great, the clutch feels good. I would drain the old fuel and fill it up again, when it idles it sputters. the car does not smoke, or have any leaks. The brake master cylinder needs to be replaced. but the breaks still work. The car rides straight and true with no significant pulling, and the front end is tight. The tires look almost new and have a lot of tread left.The factory A/C compressor does engage and the clutch kicks in, the Air is Colder than Luke warm, and will need a re-charge. Paint & Body.The paint and body is what I would call "Drivers Quality" there are flaws, and some checking in the lacquer paint, it is the original color and shines up nicely. The front passenger side headlight sustained damage while parked.... it damaged the headlight glass and chrome Bezel, I was going to replace it for 325.00 with a new Porsche assembly, but figured the next owner may enjoy tinkering on it. Interior/Trim The interior is very nice, the dash has no cracks and all gauges/controls look good. the seats are aftermarket and hug you well while cornering and do not look too bad, there are no rips/tears, the back seats are nearly perfect, and the carpet is very clean throughout. The Targa top is in nice condition as well. Overall a nice Porsche to make your own. I have a clean title for this car, and will ship worldwide.
