Up for sale is my 1969 Hurst Olds it is a 3 Owner car bought new at Bob Moore Olds in Oklahoma City . A friend of mine has known this car for Several Decades and when, I wanted to purchase one we went and I bought it. 1st Owner had it until mid 80's, Second Owner had it until I bought it in 2012. Hurst Performance Research documents it as car # 849 in the registry. It has the correct Toronado GT Oldsmobile Block but is not matching numbers ( Both owners state the engine has never been out of the car) it has the correct D heads , Correct J intake , Original Exhaust Manifolds and the Correct Air Induction Air Cleaner that works. It has the original OH Turbo 400 Transmission and the 323 Posi rear end. Car was Repainted in Lacquer in the early 80's Cameo White with the Fire Frost Gold there were a few flaws that I had repaired with Lacquer this week. Paint still looks good . The second Owner stored this car in a garage for the 25 years he owned it driving it very little. I had the door panels and the head liner replaced due to age the seats are Original and in good shape with one small hole in the back of the drivers seat. The carpet is original and in good shape ( may be a build sheet in the interior I have not looked). The Door rubber was replaced due to age. The dash is Original and nice and all gauges work ( except Clock and Factory Am radio). It has a Under Dash Am/Fm/CD player installed with new 6x9 speakers in rear deck. This is a (RARE) AC car that was converted to R134. It has Power Steering and Power Brakes. There is no rust car is straight and solid. I have had the car gone over mechanically when I purchased with a lot of reciepts . Here is a list of things done to the car after I Purchased it. New Fuel Tank , Sending Unit and New Fuel Lines New rear shocks and rear springs Rear end rebuilt and rear brakes redone ( rear brake shoes ,axle seals, wheel cylinders and new brake bleeders and brake lines Trans serviced fluid filter and modulator valve Frontend rebuilt, new steering gear, new power steering pump, new shocks and alignment New front rotors, bearings, brake calipers, pads and brake lines New performance quadrajet carburetor (old one was to far gone) New Belts, date code radiator hoses and clamps, new heater hose, new thermostat and new water pump Radiator and ac condensor vatted and cleaned, new fan clutch , Plugs, wires, Distributor changes to pentronics , Still have points if you wanted to change it back Ac converted to R134 , All O-rings changed to 134 ( green) New Windshield and new Wiper motor, windshield washers work Car still retains all 4 T3 headlamps all lights work, has sport steering wheel Aftermarket gauges under dash ( I HAVE FACTORY SENDING UNITS TO REINSTALL FACTORY WIRING AND PLUGS ON SENDING UNITS THAT ARE IN THE GLOVE BOX I have put approx (300 miles) on the car since I purchased it in 2012 The trunk is clean with the original jack does not have the original wheel but has the original spare tire (dont know if it ever had the Hurst spare wheel) the trunk light works. Bumpers are original and in great shape as well as glass. BFG tires and good tread on them.
