We originally purchased this C-Class from Mercedes Benz financial services roughly 2 years ago. The car was sold to one of our local customers who owned the car. It was traded back to us after developing a whining noise in the transmission.This Mercedes is in above average condition for year and mileage, non smoker, good tires. There is a small amount of paint cracking on the rear bumper, outside of that there are no dents , rust or heavy scratches. The reason we are selling this car for so far below book value is due to a "drivetrain whine". Mercedes Benz said it needs a new transmission. Most likely the differential in the trans because the transmission shifts smoothly, the car drives down the road perfectly, No clunks, bangs or anything that would normally be associated with a transmission issue. That being said the car is being sold as is, no warranty.
