I have my 1992 Honda CR-500R up for sale. It has quite a few goodies on it including FMF gnarly exhaust and power-core silencer, boyesen clutch cover, boyesen carbon pro reeds, works connection skid plate and frame guards, custom aluminum sub-frame, powder coated frame, plus more. It has a clean and clear title that comes with it which is hard to find on a CR-500. With this title and the addition of a few D.O.T. approved tires and lighting you can make this street legal.I tore it down to check it out and the crank is barely out of spec. I took the liberty of including a brand new Pro-X piston, complete engine gasket kit and a factory Honda crank rebuilt with a Pro-X rod at Eric Gorr's Forward Motion. He is the most well known and awesome CR500 engine builder in the states. He has exclusively handled all my CR500 engine needs for the past 18 years. It will also need hand grips and that is all. I have included all brand new name brand parts to completely redo the engine top to bottom. The bike is complete and reassembled after I checked the engine so no parts would be lost. You are not buying a basket-case or a bike that is in parts. It is sitting in my garage just as the picture shows.Take it home, slap in the new crank, piston and gaskets and you are good to go. You will wind up having the crank that's in it as a spare to rebuild or sell on eBay and recoup some money.The engines alone go for as much as $2000 on eBay and you don't know if it even works. With this you get all the parts to know you have a solid engine, plus you get the rest of the bike. I simply don't have the time or desire to mess with this stuff as much as I used to.
