This 1996 B4V TDI Passat Wagon is in excellent shape for its age and needs nothing to be a great daily driver and family hauler. It gets 40 to 50 mpg, starts and runs great, drives perfect, and has plenty of pep thanks to Bosio injector nozzles, and GQ ECM tuning upgrade. It just had new front wheel bearings and brake pads and rotors. I have parts for the rear brake pads and rotors-including new wheel bearings. I also have a new set of engine mounts to go with. There are a few blemishes in the paint as mentioned in the "condition description." It has always lived in the intermountain west between Idaho, New Mexico, and Washington state, so it has never been subject to the corrosive road salts of the northeast and Midwest. And it shows in the paint and in how there is no corrosion anywhere. The timing belt was replaced about 15,000 miles ago. The tires have 50% tread left. The tie rod ends are tight. And the suspension is tight as well. It has Bilstein TC struts and shocks all around with newer strut bearings and bushings. The factory 14 inch wheels mean cheap tires. This wagon is economical to own and operate and will continue to make someone the perfect, reliable family car. Only selling because I found a B5 Passat TDI to get in its stead.
