This was my dads daily driver but the optispark distributor just went out in it and he doesn't have the funds to fix it. This is a common issue with the LT1 motors after a lot of rain. He is 73 and doesn't drive much anymore so he just wants to sell the car as is where is. Car was driven daily up until last week. It has the 5.7 Lt1 in it with around 173,000 (odometer has the flicker issue that these digital dashes get so miles on it sometimes say 427,000 instead of 173,000 but we have proof of actual mileage on car). Other then the distributor, the car runs and drives great and gets good gas mileage. He just had a tune up done on it with new plugs and wires. It has a K&N cold air intake on it. Transmission was rebuilt with better then stock parts 4 years ago. It has true dual exhaust ( drivers side muffler may have a hole in it). All new rear brakes and power booster just installed. Nice maroon cloth interior with three rows of seating (3rd row is pleather). Pioneer cd player with remote. Air conditioner works great with just installed new compressor and other parts. Power everything including both front seats. Rear tinted windows. Original paint is decent and cleans up pretty good but it does show some age. There are a few small dings on the drivers side fender and some scratches on other parts of the car. Rear side molding is missing on drivers side and also tailgate molding is missing. Tow hitch (factory 2" receiver). Good inspection. Front tires may need to be replaced at some point. Everything works on car as it should. Tint on windows is peeling in some areas. There was some rust that has been fixed in the spare tire well with bondo. Not the best job but it was done before we got it. I do not see any other rust through issues and there is only minor surface rust on a few areas underneath. This would be a great start to a custom hauler. All flaws are listed to save both parties a lot of wasted time. Car needs a good cleaning and detail job. Car is located at the shop where he had it towed to. Car does not run. Needs new distributor and would suggest a new water pump also. Other then that the car is ready to be driven across country if need be. We have receipts from various repairs over the last few years. I will be glad to give you the number to the shop so you can call and see that the car just needs this one repair done to it. Some of the pictures are older but the car is in exact condition as shown in pics. Mileage on odemeter in the one pic is not correct. Be sure to add me to your favorites list!On Oct-08-15 at 10:58:39 PDT, seller added the following information: the accident listed on the carfax was not a front hit. a lady came into my dads lane while turning and the only damage was the side molding that is missing now. she caught that with her bumper and peeled it back a little ways and on the way home the wind caught it and peeled it the rest of the way off and i never got around to replacing it or sticking the old piece back on. once again, the only thing this car needs is the optispark replaced. everything else on the car is in working condition. he has receipts for a $1000 in new parts and labor for the air condition and also all the rear brakes and power booster which was over $900. The only reason my dad is selling this car is because he doesn't have the funds to replace the distributor right now.
