Purchased from original owner-a Great Lakes, Illinois, Naval officer who was transferred overseas and put 8,000 miles on it in the two years he owned it. Syn oils used. 55k Hwy miles. Rifle windscreen and Corbin seat, otherwise stock. In excellent condition, runs and shifts perfectly, and very comfortable for long distance riding. Motorcyclist Magazine claims the ST1100's have "legendary reliability and longevity". Great horsepower and torque. I feel a much better machine than the 1300 that followed. Needs nothing but new tires soon. I am now 73 and am downsizing my bikes. I plan to travel on my KLR 650 and use a new Triumph Bonneville T100 for short runs--going for lighter machines and less speed, so have to sell Big Red. If buyer wishes to drive it home, we can arrange the purchase and mounting of new tires before pick-up. Weather here (near Glenwood Springs, CO) is usually good for riding in Oct. but can get unpredictable in Nov.
