Up for auction is a 2002 VW Jetta TDI GLS with a manual transmission. It has 122,xxx miles and runs excellent. It gets great gas mileage with an average of 40 mpg. I have used this as a daily driver over the last year. We purchased it because we needed a car we wouldn't have to put money into and could drive 300+ miles a week that was economical. Overall the car on the exterior is showing its age. From 10 feet the car looks great but any closer you will see 12 years of scratches and small dings.  The front windshield has a penny sized chip on the passenger side. One wheel is missing the VW emblem from the center of the wheel. There was a bumper sticker on the trunk to the right of the VW badge and the clear coat came off when removed then was repaired but as seen in the photos you can see where this was done.  There is also a spot on the hood that has been touched up seen in the photos as well.  The interior is in great shape. The only flaw is the same as most Volkswagens from this generation and that is the coating on the door handles is rubbing off in spots. As you can see the rest of the interior looks great. All regular maintenance has been performed. Tires still have plenty of life left. The timing belt was changed around 100k.
