Vehicle Detail
It’s time to part with my wonderful 2014 BMW K1600GT Sport. It’s a dream touring bike, tough and tender, but finances being what they are, it has to go. I got it last winter and have put 11,184 miles on it, hard to believe, as I just took three trips, two longish ones to Arizona and Wyoming, but it’s easy to put a lot of miles on these things: with every other bike I’ve had you get tired mid-day, but the Beast just makes you think you’re invincible and can ride into the night. With the last trip, I had the Rich's seat, built slightly wider than stock with the stock cover to match the stock passenger seat: I didn't want to mess with original color scheme. The bike looks and rides like a dream, soft and cushy on the freeway, a snarling sport bike in the twisties. With the different ride modes and suspension settings you can ride the way you want, it's pretty amazing. It's a lot of bike for the money. It’s fully loaded except for the audio package, but I had a Garmin Nav V installed before I took delivery, so it’s only lacking the stereo, but if you have a bluetooth setup in your helmet, you won't miss it. I had speakers on other bikes, can't hear a thing on the freeways, so what's the point? The Nav V is fully integrated with the grip controls and Bluetooth inputs. Standard on the Sport: LED Aux lights Adaptive Zenon Headlight TPM Cruise Control computer control panel Additional factory options: ESA II ride control Safety Package (Dynamic Traction Control/ABS) Convenience Package (alarm keyfob) Luxury package (heated seats) Additional accessories: Rich’s Custom rider’s seat (stock passenger seat, I used the original cover for Rich’s seat) Wunderlich hand protectors Wunderlich brake and clutch reservoir covers Techspec Snake Skin tank grips Bestem saddlebag liners California Scientific Medium windshield non-tint (original fairing is on the bike) reflective panels on saddlebags Side stand enlarger Ram mount Last winter I dropped the bike on its left side in the mud: all affected parts, including fog light, all panels and muffler were replaced by insurance with OEM parts, all work documented with dealer receipts. Please check pictures on left side, you won’t find any leftover traces. 600 and 6600 mile services performed by authorized dealers and owner’s manual is stamped and up to date. All receipts and original sticker come with the bike along with some motorcycle magazines about the bike. Extra key fob and keys. The bike is financed, so I will need a few days to get the title to you after payment. If you’re shipping, you’re sure to get the title well before the bike. This is my 13th Beemer, I’m a long standing member of the MOA and take good care of my machines. The bike runs like new and is still under warranty. The recall has been done. Full warranty until October 2017. You can bid with trust as I have a very high rating on eBay.Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, I will assist as much as possible. If you're in the Bay Area feel free to come by, test rides with M1 license and full payment in hand. The bike is listed locally for sale, if you're interested in the bike contact me. I reserve the right to end the auction in the event of local sale. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
