I’m the second owner of this 186,000 mile car which was meticulously maintained by the previous owner who was a client of mine until his passing. I’ve owned three of these over the years and believe this chassis to be one of the best Mercedes ever built. I purchased this one two years ago when it had 183,500 miles on it and unfortunately I just don’t use it so it’s time for a new home. Since I had purchased the car to keep I did a ton of preventative maintenance listed below. I also installed a new AM/FM, CD, Bluetooth Radio and have original which will go with the car. The original Wheels were Abrasive Blasted & Powder Coated and New Michelin Pilot Tires were installed which now have less than 2,000 miles on them. New Bilstein Shocks on the front & rear as well as all New Brake Hoses. The Water Pump and Thermostat were replaced as well as all the Coolant Hoses and the system was filled with MB Coolant. New Oil, Fuel, Transmission & Air Filters, New Serpentine Belt, All New Vacuum Hoses in Engine Bay and a new Battery. There was a problem with some of the vacuum pumps on these engines which could break and subsequently drop a piece into the timing chain causing a catastrophic engine failure so I installed a new upgraded OEM Pierburg Vacuum Pump. New rubber fuel return lines installed on all injectors and a new lower seal on the fuel injection pump. This car has NO leaks anywhere. I also installed New Overload Protection Relay, New Motor & Transmission Mounts and a couple of vacuum pods in the HVAC system. Cold AC and all systems on the car work. The car also has a new set of Lloyds Mats Front & Back. Finally I purchased an original set of Euro Headlights and new Old Stock Lens which are far superior to the factory headlights not to mention they look a lot better as well. The headlights alone sell for $500+ on eBay. The finish is like new and the previous owner’s wife said the car was never in an accident. The leather upholstery is in beautiful condition with no scratches or rips. This is a rust free car that will give the next owner years of trouble free service.
