Vehicle Detail

Please note that this car is located in NH and you are responsible for pickup. Please don't bid if you are not willing or able to pay the deposit and full amount or pick it up. I'm only adding this because the last bidder did not do either. I bought this car in 2003 as a Honda certified vehicle with 47,377. Since then I have driven it almost every day to and from work and also from NH to OK and back several times and it now has 250,565. Unfortunately it did not pass emissions inspection this year and the mechanic told me that it needed a catalytic converter costing me $800 minimum. You can see the 'Check Engine' light in the pictures due to this, the other lights on the dashboard are simply seat belt and door lights, those go off as normal. Being this old it does need more work than that and I just didn't want to put more money into it since my family needed an SUV anyways. But up until March I was still driving it to work and back, about 70 total miles a day. Aside from the converter needing replaced the hood latch is broken so you can't pop it open from the inside(unless of course you fix it). I basically cut the cable and just pull it from under the car to open it, it isn't hard to open. The one other thing I should mention is that when I stopped driving it in March it ran fine but I did turn it on the other day to move it and take pictures of it and it was revving up and down. I drove it up and down the street with no problems but since it isn't registered and has no plates I didn't test it further than my street. I don't know of anything of else mechanically wrong with it but that doesn't mean there isn't. It is a 1999 with a lot of miles so there's a good chance there are some leaks and that other stuff needs replacement or will soon. And of course you can see from the pictures that there is some paint chipped off and a minor dent in hood(someone hit me from behind on highway and I hit truck in front of me). The bottom line is that it is an old car but if you are good at fixing stuff and are willing to put some time and money into it, it will probably last you another few years. I have disclosed everything I know but if you have questions don't hesitate to ask. And if you are wondering why it's listed at that starting price it's because there are a couple of dealers that will give me some money for it but not what it's worth since it does run.
