1961 Saab 96 Barn Stored 37 years!Stuck motor. Some rust, but very solid overall.Easy restoration. NO RESERVE!! Very appealing “bull nose” 2-stroke 96 in a classic vintage PERFECT for creating an Erik Carlsson/Monte Carlo tribute car! Last on the road in 1976 and barn stored. Motor is stuck. Body is pretty straight and all panels fit well. Repaint of original red paint and panels are clean and solid around the body seams, trim and under the hood. Solid body: Rust in the floors in usual spots, but this car impresses when you look underneath: Trunk, suspension mounts, shock towers and all the critical spots are in very strong shape. Car can be jacked up under the boxed sills and the doors open and click shut just fine. Note: There is rust repair to do, make no mistake, but very much less than usual on these cars. Under the hood is neat, clean, stock and with little oxidation and no evidence of any crash damage. Good original interior, which can largely be saved. There’s just a whole lot of good stuff to work with on this car. Rolls easily and the tires hold air: Easy load and transport. Important note: We filled in the odometer field in eBay's template with the mileage shown on the car's odo (83013) as eBay demands...We do NOT claim that to be actual miles, and we have no idea if the instrument works or if it's rolled to 183k.
