I purchased the beautiful car about 24 years ago and did the work on it myself, except for the paint that was done by a body shop. Its been garage kept and used sparingly since. The V8 and 3 speed floor stick option is rare, as is the original AM-FM stereo. Dual exhaust. Original Ford Rally 500 wheels that I robbed from a Mach 1 I also had at the time. Power steering, manual drum brakes. The gauge package while original mustang was not original equipment to this car. I've had my fun family drives and good memories with this car but now its time for someone else to enjoy it and make their own memories, or take it to Hershey and flip it for considerably more. All the rails and floors are solid. At the time I remember doing some patching of the floor pans but they did not require replacing. There is some rust in the rail where the front bumper attaches, drivers side, but that's it. The backup light switch is not installed (there is a new one in the glove box). Otherwise this is the most solid mustang convertible you are going to find in this price range. The tach isn't working, likely a wire issue, even so I will toss in another gauge package with the purchase just in case. I sold its sister about 2 years ago on ebay a medium blue convertible with argent stripe. Currently registered with historic plates. If you want to come and look at it I welcome you. I recommend you come and examine it yourself or send a representative. It is certainly an eye catcher. YOU have to arrange for shipping pick up. All I do is coordinate meeting the shipper to take the vehicle. Upon receipt of a certified bank check (not personal check) OR cash on pickup, I will deliver the title to you. I require a $500 deposit via paypal within 24 hours of the close of auction. The car is being sold as is, no warranties expressed or implied. Cleaned my belonging out, vacuumed it and put the above mentioned spare parts in the trunk. I'm also advertising locally so if you see it disappear before anyone bids you will know why.
