Vehicle Detail

1970 Honda CT70 Mini Bike, also referred to as a Pit Bike. This bike was completely disassembled. All parts were cleaned and/or polished. The Frame, Front Forks and Swing arm were sanded, primed, painted and cleared in Sikkens Automotive Paint. The color is Chrysler Mango Tango. The engine and transmission both run strong. This is a 3 Speed Semi Automatic. The gears are shifted as on any motorcycle via a foot shifter, but no clutch. The clutch is centrifugal type clutch. Very easy bike to ride, it will run 35 MPH+. The seat has been recovered. The carburetor has been disassembled, cleaned and adjusted. New grips were installed. New Honda decals were applied to the sides of the frame as well as the tire pressure decal on the chain guard. A new battery has been installed. New Shocks have been installed. The headlight works on High and Low Beam and the Tail Lights and Brake Lights work with each lever. The Speedometer works and seems to be accurate. A new Tail Light Lense was installed as well. The Chrome is in nice condition, not perfect. There are some scratches and light pitting. There is a small dent in the front fender. The underside of the seat, seat bracket, battery box, foot pegs, kickstand and air cleaner box have all been painted in Gloss Black. The wheels have been repainted in Metallic Silver. The Cylinder has been painted in High Temp Flat Black. The Right Side Engine Cover was painted in Silver Metallic, the Left Side Cover is new. I also included some pictures of the bike during the build. This bike starts on the first couple of kicks. It is typically a little cold natured on start up. Warms up to operating temperature in a minute or Two. It runs great and is a joy to ride for the young, old or anybody in between. This would be an ideal bike for running trails, to take camping or cruising around at a race or Swap Meet. There is no Title with this bike, but I can provide a Bill of Sale if the Winning Bidder desires. Would be best if the new owner picked up the bike, but I will work with anyone wanting to send a shipper so long as you make the arrangements. $500 down due within 48 hours of the auction end via PayPal. The full amount can be paid through PayPal as well. No International Bidders please. On Sep-02-15 at 19:13:02 PDT, seller added the following information: The motor and transmission were not disassembled during the build of this bike.
